- The first rule of this board is politeness. I recognize that not everyone will get along all the time, so I'm not saying you have to maintain a stiff upper lip. Just be aware that strong and/or repeated direct attacks are not allowed. I will try to maintain a 'warning first, delete later' policy. Banning is not part of my policies, though on the off-chance things get really bad I can employ that strategy.
- I've disabled the censors. This does not mean you're allowed to spit curse words all over the place; discretion is advised. Use curse words sparingly if at all, or asterisk them out on your own if you want to be a little more flippant.
- Be careful with spoilers. If you think your thread or post will contain spoilers for something, please put a warning in the topic title or top of the post that says something along the lines of "_______ Spoilers Ahead." Fill in the blank with the appropriate subject.
Threads marked for spoilers are considered to have the spoiler warning in effect for the entire post.
Also, please use common sense. Spoiler warnings probably aren't important about say, who Luke Skywalker's father is, but the new Harry Potter book is probably a good thing to spoiler-guard.
Common sense goes both ways, so if you're one of those that dislikes spoilers, avoid topics that you're not sure about.
It may help to put up threads specifically marked 'No Spoilers'.
- Have fun!
