Alexis isn't young... =P
Again, what can I say? Very good, though a little short (this may very well be due to the fact that I've read forabout eight hours today...). Does the Arcanum Division circumvent laws it finds... unnecessary? Or do they just have good relations with many judges?

The Arcanum Division pretty much can do whatever it wants to do, whenever it wants to do it, its only restrictions being that it should be covert so they avoid the wrath of the higher ups, and the personal morals of its members.
It *is* a bit short, since switching to the 4/week schedule the episodes are shorter than on the 1/week; this is especially true of today's episode since I've been working all day.
And 20 isn't young?

20 is still young enough to be young and horny.
*actually reads the episode*
*realizes the total irrelevance of her comment*
Or, uh, young and invincible. Ah yes, the invincibility of youth. Or something. I think I should stop babbling now....

Alexis acts far more mature and... reserved... than the average twenty-year-old. His experiences betray him; he is far too jaded.

Alexis much more acts his age in the prequel. Going through what he's been through has aged him a lot.

Well, exactly. I wouldn't describe him as young, since his age seems irrelevant to his character. But we are getting off on a tangent, aren't we?
Oh, and I need to know: did "sleep is for the week" exist before you parodied me back on the other board?

Yeah, it existed prior. Aeolus and Alexis use a lot of my favorite sayings.

Including the Gratuitious use of the word Sparky to name people they don't really care about.
I wonder where that came from.
I think it's because they watched some of the same TV shows as kids, and maybe a character had the habit of calling people Sparky, and the meme just happened to lodge inside their two heads.
And possibly also the Author's.
What TV show or cartoon this might have been, I have no idea.

I think I got it from a movie. Was it Jack Nicholson? Someone like that. He called someone 'Sparky' and it amused me.
