What's your take on the situation as whole. Not that I have any authority, but please keep this civil and leave eachother's personal aspects alone; attack the points, not the person.
I personally think that the largest issue would be how opaque (or non-transparent) the government has been on the issue. The original reaction was pure denial, now the White House refuses to comment, since it is an "ongoing investigation", which obvious will lead to some doubt. Now, it is a problem that Rove (at least inadvertantly) disclosed, or led to the uncovering of, an active, covert CIA agent. This should be dealt with after the investigation concludes, but the real problem is the attitude of the government; they deny what they can, only later to not comment when more evidence has surfaced.

I haven't been keeping up in the past day or two. Is it known for sure that Rove was the leak now?

He was a leak, whether or not he was consciously a leak is being determined. In an email, he has been quoted as saying that "Wilson's wife" gave him authorisation to take the trip that led him to write his critical argument. Wilson being the reporter, his (one) wife being the agent. Whether or not this is illegal is under examination. If he knowingly named her, it is illegal, FYI.

I'm just surprised more than anything that Bush has been so... quiet on it, you know?

Well, the entire White House is saying "no comment". This is the largest problem I have with it; two years ago it was "completely ridiculous" that Karl would be a leak, now that there is proof, they have nothing to say.
